I hope that i don't need to recover any subject...

TIME FOR SELVE EVALUATION

My learning:
1. DID YOU WORK HARD? Yes, I did. I think that during this course I've worked harder than another years.
2. DID YOU ORGANIZE YOUR WORK WEEK BY WEEK? I tried to organize my work but not always it is possible because.
3. WHAT WAS MORE DIFFICULT FOR YOU? The most difficult thing for me is to write week by week "my diary" in the blog, because often i forget this task.
4. WHAT DID YOU LEARN?( new grammar, vocab..) I learn a lot of new vocabulary (students book) i I also learned a lot of grammar (grammar bank, work book)
5. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO IMPROVE? I think that the most important thing that I need to improve is my pronunciation but I'm working hard in it

The activities:

Write about the different activities.Use I like/don't like.. I prefer/ My favourite..
magazine reading and activities/dialogues/writings/DVD
Films and summaries/Oral presentation/Extra-points projects
My blog preparation

My favorite magazine is the last that we have red "Americans love their flag". I don't like to do any writing but I must. The activities that I love to do is watching films! I like to record oral presentations too because I can work with my pronunciation and improve myself.

In conclusion,

WHAT'S YOUR BEST ACTIVITY/ACTIVITIES THIS COURSE? (link it)
DID YOU LIKE WORKING IN THE LANGUAGE ROOM?
WHY/WHY NOT?

My best activity I think that is the protuction that I have done with my friend Paula: "Our cooking lessons" Clik here to see it.

I like a lot working in the language room because I think that is a great method to learn English!

BATTLE OF THE SEXES: UNIT 1

This unit talks about the equality / inequality of the sexes.

In this unit we have worked:

. Adjectives and Prepositions :
Certain adjectives is English are always followed by a particular preposition. You should try to learn these combinations by heart as they may be different in your language. Example: She was worried about the exam.

.Phrasal Verbs I : When a verb is used together with a preposition or an adverb, it is called a phrasal verb. A phrasal verb has a different meaning from the meaning of the verb alone. Example: They don't have to look after their children.

.Grammar: Present simple and present continuous and time Expressions:
PS: verb(+s,es) PC: am/is/are + verb+ing
TIME EXPRESSIONS: Right now, usually, every day, seldom, never, at present, once a week, on Fridays, generally.

.Basic Skills: Word Order: In English, a sentence has got a basic word order. A sentence has usually got a subject and a verb. There may be other parts in the sentence. The basic order is:
SUBJECT+VERB+OBJECT+MANNER (how)+PLACE (where)+ TIME (when)

. Writing: EXAMS? YES!

Is it really necessary to do exams? Many people think that the teacher's opinion is enough to evaluate the student's work. I disagree with this opinion. It is better to do exams that sow objective marks.

The main exam's advantage is that they promote the study, because the studen don't want to fail them.
Another benefit is that the exams help to organize the school's contents because they're often very periodical.

In fact, I think that doing exams is very necessary and useful, obviating that I don't like to study very much
.

ORAL PRESENTATION

RADIO PRESENTER: Good evening. This is Clara Boix introducing tonight's edition of "What do you think...?" This evening our subject is global warming , and what you can do to help the planet. My gue3sts are Paula Omedes, editor of the monthly magazine Green Themes...

PAULA OMEDES: Good evening

PRESENTER: ... and Chris Reader, columnist and politician.

CHRIS: Evening

PRESENTER: And don't forget that we'll be taking your calls and questions, too. The number to ring, as always, is 0800987456. So, Paula, What can we do to save the planet? Or is too late?

PAULA: No, Clara, it's never too late. The important thing to remember is that everyone can help in the fight against global warming. In our family, for example, we recycle our rubbish, we shower instead of taking baths, we make sure we turn off the lights when we leave the room as well as electronic equipment when it's not being used, and I always choose seasonal produce...

CHRIS: Excuse me, Paula, but do you really think turning off a few electric lights will make any difference?

PAULA: You know, Chris, I think it can. Take a simple example: you have a shower instead of a bath. That way you save about 50 liters of water. Use a glass of water when you clean your teeth instead of leaving the tap running, you save 24 liters of water. Then multiply those figures by the inhabitants of a big city such as London, and that's a lot of resources being saved.

CHRIS: Sorry, Lisa, but frankly I just don't buy it.
Take the government's sudden obsession with global warming.
If you ask me, the government is just drawing the publics attention away from the real problems in society today, like crime, national security, unemployment...

PRESENTER: If I can' interrupt for a moment, our first caller this evening is Roger from Woking.
Hi, Roger, I think you have a question for us.

ROGER: Yes, thank you, I have a lump on my nose. It's very itchy and I've tried everything to...

PRESENTER: Umm, Roger, Roger,... if I could just stop you there, I think you've called the wrong programme. Doctors' Weekly is now on Tuesday night...
